A Turtle Camp dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles in a small part of Puerto Vallarta. Playa Boca de Tomates is off the top the top left of this map, Puerto Vallarta Marina. At the end of Paseo Boca Negra, on the beach turn right to the camp.

Guests are welcome to come and assist in the hatchling releases and to patrol the beach.

General Nesting Season: The primary nesting season for most species is from June to December, with some variation depending on the species and location.
Species of Turtles:
Olive Ridley Turtles: These are the most abundant and can be seen nesting year-round, with peak season varying by location.
Green Turtles: These turtles are also endangered and nest in smaller numbers compared to Olive Ridleys and Hawksbill Turtles: Critically endangered, they nest in very small numbers.
Important Considerations:
Respect Wildlife: Observe nesting turtles from a distance and avoid disturbing them.
Minimize Light and Noise: Bright lights and loud noises can disorient nesting turtles and hatchlings.Support Conservation Efforts: Participate in responsible turtle watching tours and contribute to conservation organizations.
