ATV Off Road tours are very good in Puerto Vallarta. We have many back roads and trails up through river valleys in the jungle covered mountains behind town. Some stops include swimming in waterfall fed pools and visits to rustic restaurants with Tequila Tasting. This area is virgin jungle, with a lots of indigenous plants and wildlife.
We recommend the tours that don’t start in town and thunder through the neighbourhoods to get into the mountains, they produce a lot of dust and the locals hate them.
With River Canopy, which starts in the mountains, they don’t do this. Transport is provided from several locations in Puerto and Nuevo Vallarta.
With ATV Off Road tours there are also Canopy Tours combinations with an Off-Road trail ride to the start of the Zip Lines.
Some include a swimming option at a waterfall!

We only book with the companies that show respect for the local communities. The tours start and end in the mountains far from any habitation.
After the tour the center has a restaurant, a bar and even a swimming pool!
