The North Downtown Vallarta Map shows the area north of the Rosita Hotel. 
Colonias 5 de Deciembre and Lázaro Ceardenas have several good resstaurants now and a few hotels, like the Sheraton, Premier and Buenaventura.
We call this the North Downtown Map which includes the Colonias of 5 de Diciembre and Lázaro Cárdenas.
Our Sports Stadium, has a running track, soccer, baseball fields, skateboard park, even weight and exercise equipment.
There are usually local matches being played on the weekends, very entertaining and cheap, most are free. Check at the office facing the highway.
Apart from the supermarkets Ley and Soriana Store, there’s a well known local Market, which is known for it’s seafood, in Colonia 5 de Diciembre, next to the cemetery.
To the south of North Downtown Vallarta Map we go to Downtown or Colonia Centro at Parque Hidalgo (Hidalgo Park). To the north is the start of Puerto Vallarta’s Hotel Zone.
It also shows the bypass highway around the back of Vallarta, the “Libramiento”.
The Rosita Hotel at the bottom of the map is the start of our Malecón – Shoreline Boardwalk.
Still a reasonably flat area, but the hills of downtown start towards the south.
