Cafe de Olla is, as it’s name implies, is made in a pot, with a little cinnamon, traditionally sweetened with piloncillos, small pyramids of raw sugar.

A traditional Mexican, All You Can Eat, Brunch, high up in the mountains. This is very popular with the locals, you won’t find many gringos here. But wonderful fresh food, handmade tortillas, all the traditional dishes, like guisados, quesadillas, pozole and chilaquiles. Plus hotcakes, a omelet station lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and much more. Plus Mariachis ! All for 350 pesos for adults and 200 pesos for children (6-11y).
Reservations made by telephone or in person at the Las Glorias or Insurgentes Office, payment there, plus 10$US for transport. Transport is from the The South Side Office, Las Glorias in the Hotel Zone & Nuevo locations, receive a Confirmation Number when you call in your reservation

MI CAFE

A bit off the beaten path to this neighbourhood gem is a place where you can enjoy excellent food, music and a pleasant environment which will feel like home, also a library of many books. Sun – Fri. 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
