The Marietas Sailing Tour takes you to these small protected islands to snorkel or just relax.
The Sailing Tour to the Marietas Islands, just off the northern point of Banderas Bay, are a protected National Park. For those who enjoy snorkelling, you’ll find an amazing quantity of tropical fish, as well as an excellent chance to see octopus, eels, spotted rays and even seahorses. For those who enjoy bird watching, there are over 100 species of marine birds including some very rare species like the Blue Footed Booby. But, if you just want to relax, there are isolated coves with stunning cliffs, caves and rock formations a photographer’s dream.
The Marietas Islands are one of the great Natural Paradises in Mexico.
The Sailing Tour heads out in the morning enjoying the beauty and serenity of the bay. Enter the Marietas Islands National Park where our guides will take you snorkelling and look for rare species of birds, or just relax on one of the secluded beaches (conditions permitting).
Then, if there’s a nice breeze, a nice relaxing sail back to port.
NOTE: From December 8th to March 23rd this tour will include Whale Watching at $85 per adult and $42 per child.

Boats leave from the two locations, one in Puerto Vallarta and one in Nuevo Vallarta MAP.
