Adventure, thrills and extreme fun is what River Expedition is all about. It is an experience not to be missed.
The tour begins with a journey up the Rio Cuale heading to our centre, where you will feel the difference between the city and the mountains of the Sierra Madre Occidental. Canopy River is located in a mountainous area above the Rio Cuale valley. There the expedition starts by being led through the jungle by our experienced and friendly guides.
After a total of 8 zip lines you’ll be down to the river and can enjoy rafting down to a beautiful swimming pool and waterfall.
Now cooled off, you’ll return to the top again on gentle mules for refreshment and a taste of tequila.
River Expedition also has an excellent Restaurant and Bar to serve you.
Enjoy the first dose of adrenaline when you are launched on a zip line from one side of the gorge to the other side. Then you will walk into the jungle and you will be captivated by the beautiful view and the variety of flora and wildlife. Then the challenge is to cross two bridges located on one side of the gorge that leads you to the edge of a precipice, from this you will have the option to rappel down 27 meters (88ft) or 24 meters (78ft) in free fall.

Minimum Age 12 years. Maximum weight 210lbs, 95K, Includes Transportation, Zip Lines, Rappel & Free Fall, Tarzan Ride, Hanging Bridges, Rafting, Mules, bottled water and a Tequila Tasting.

We suggest bringing comfortable closed toe shoes and light clothing, it may get wet.
Insect repellent and a change of dry clothes.
Lockers are provided for free.
You may also wish to have some extra money, if you’d like to have a meal or drinks at the restaurant.
Cameras are not allowed on the tour for safety reasons.
