Most of the year you have to get out of the bay for the big ones.
But not always, especially in the summer.
Fishing with Calypso
The Calypso Super Panga is a 30ft center console with Twin 150 Mercury 4 stroke outboard engines. This gives us plenty of power and fuel capacity to target fish such as Mahi Mahi, Rooster, Red Snapper, Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna and Marlin. We support catch and release for all billfish.
Our boats are equipped with Avett, Shimano and Penn reels, 4 tuna tubes, 14 rod holders, TACO Outriggers, downrigger, GPS, Fishfinder, 2 fighting chairs, fish box to keep the fish fresh, ice cooler for drinks, comfortable, sunbathing area, iPod connector for music and marine VHF radio.
Not to worry about sunny days, as we have lots of shade on board.

This trip we go farther out in the bay, it is perfect for people who want to catch the big one! We go along the edge of the bay , this gives us a better chance to bring in a sail fish , mahi mahi , rooster fish, amber jack, red snapper, pompano, jack caravels, bonitos and lastly skip jack tuna.
