Puerto Vallarta Cemeteries Get Day of Dead Guard

More than 200 personnel will guard cemeteries and tourist areas in Puerto Vallarta during the Day of the Dead celebrations.

The Dirección de Seguridad Pública y Tránsito Municipal announced the operation, which will cover the destination’s main recreational areas as well as cemeteries.

In-person surveillance will begin on October 30.

Police presence will be reinforced in the tourist zone during the operation.

Preventive recommendations will also be issued, and alcohol restrictions will be implemented.
