Día de Muertos concerts set for Vallarta, Nayarit

Two special concerts will celebrate Día de Muertos through music, bringing together La Orquesta Sinfónica Vallarta, the Coral de la Universidade de Brasília, and Poder Coral.

The first performance is scheduled for October 30 at 9:00 p.m. at Iglesia Reina de la Paz in Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta.

The program will include works by Mexican and Brazilian composers.

The program will culminate with John Rutter’s Requiem.

The second performance is scheduled for October 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Auditorio Haramara of the Universidad Tecnológica de Bahía de Banderas in Nayarit.
