The 2026–2027 Vallarta ArtWalk season begins on October 28, 2026.

The Vallarta ArtWalk runs every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 10:00 pm through May 26, 2027. Sixteen galleries in Puerto Vallarta’s historic center participate in the ArtWalk, and all participating venues are located within Puerto Vallarta’s downtown core.

The ArtWalk is designed as a self-guided experience. Visitors can choose their own route through the ArtWalk, with no admission charges, registration, or designated starting point. Visitors may spend as much time as they like at any location along the route.

Digital maps and updated schedule details are available online through VallartaArtWalk.com. Free event brochures with detailed gallery profiles and map routes are distributed across local hotels, businesses, and art spaces.

The ArtWalk includes paintings, sculptures, and ceramics. Attendees have opportunities to meet the featured creators, while the 2026–2027 ArtWalk season features creations from prominent national and international talent.

The event traces back to early days along the Malecón and Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Local craftsmen and visiting painters gathered over informal conversations, and local craftsmen and visiting painters turned their homes into working studios.

The event’s creative history began expanding in the 1970s. The ArtWalk has grown into a structured yet open celebration.

To plan an evening, visitors can check the digital map and updated schedule, then choose a route among the 16 participating historic-center galleries. They can enter without an admission charge or registration and decide how long to spend at each location.
