Puerto Vallarta’s third “Recuérdame por el Festival de las Almas” will run from October 28 through November 3, 2026.

The Day of the Dead program will bring art, music and dance to public spaces across the city.

On the Malecón, visitors will find an exhibit of 50 monumental catrinas throughout the festival.

The program will also include art exhibits, folkloric ballet, mariachi, danzón, cumbia, DJ sets and other musical groups at several Puerto Vallarta venues.

The festival will extend into the Panteón 5 de Diciembre cemetery, where night tours will feature the theatrical production “Entre tumbas y recuerdos.”

A dog walk is scheduled for November 3 and will end at the Arcos del Malecón.

The festival is organized by the municipal government with the Jalisco state government.

The Jalisco state government participates through the state entertainment agency, while Puerto Vallarta’s Economic Promotion and Tourism Directorate, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust and the Vallarta Institute of Culture also participate in organizing it.

For a festival-day walk, start on the Malecón to see the 50 catrinas, then check the public-space program for music, dance and other performances.

On November 3, follow the dog walk to its finish at the Arcos del Malecón.
