Puerto Vallarta Walk Honors Alexa Martínez González
Puerto Vallarta will hold a mobilization in memory of Alexa Daniela Martínez González on Saturday, October 24, with participants meeting at the Pitillal plaza at 5:00 p.m.
The gathering will include a peaceful walk from the Pitillal plaza to Macroplaza. The walk is intended to keep Alexa Daniela Martínez González’s memory alive and to demand justice.
At Macroplaza, a white bicycle will be placed as a tribute to Alexa. The mobilization also seeks to highlight the importance of safer road spaces for cyclists and pedestrians in Puerto Vallarta.
The organizers invited members of the public to join with signs and messages demanding justice. They also called on people to share the invitation so more people would learn about the cause and participate in the activity.
For visitors who want to attend, the practical starting point is the Pitillal plaza: participants will meet there at 5:00 p.m. before walking to Macroplaza. The peaceful walk is intended to call for safer roads for people who travel by bicycle.
