Puerto Vallarta will host the Fifth National Morena Youth Camp from October 22 to 25, with about 700 participants expected.

Daniela Amelia Valdés Berumen said the camp will bring delegations from Sinaloa, Sonora, Baja California, Chihuahua, Durango, Jalisco, and Nayarit to the coastal venue.

Forty-five of the expected participants will be representatives from Nayarit.

Prominent party figures will attend as speakers.

The meetings are intended to instruct new generations so they can actively participate in the country’s political and social decisions.

Valdés Berumen said, “more spaces are needed so young people are better prepared when making decisions in public life.”

She also said that young people need more opportunities to influence the democratic life of the state and the country.

For visitors, the development means that a national political youth gathering will take place in Puerto Vallarta during those four days.

Those in town can note the October 22–25 dates when planning their time in Puerto Vallarta.
