Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero is seeking specialized technology and foreign capital intended to generate employment and professionalization in Nayarit.

That agenda included a review of Puerto Interior: Nayarit, Polo de Desarrollo Económico para el Bienestar (PODECOBI). The project is designed to boost commercial activity and promote the growth of new production chains in the region. The efforts are also intended to stimulate the local economy without neglecting their social impact on communities.

A diplomatic and business delegation from the Czech Republic conducted a working tour of the state to evaluate infrastructure, logistics, and health projects intended to consolidate the population’s well-being.

The Czech Republic’s ambassador to Mexico, Tomáš Hart, and economic adviser Martin Tusl learned about the available equipment and care capacity for families during the technical inspection. Medical-sector specialists guided the visitors through the 120-bed IMSS-Bienestar General Hospital and the Women’s Hospital in the capital.

The Nayarit Investment Forum 2026 is expected to be the culmination of these efforts.
