Puerto Vallarta Gay+ Mixer set for Oct. 6

The opening Gay+ Mixer of the 2026-27 season took place Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Margarita Grill PV. More than 180 people attended, and the mixer brought together locals, seasonal visitors and newcomers. A heavy downpour occurred shortly before the opening mixer began.

The mixer was free and included an evening of drinks, conversation and community. All Gay+ Mixers are free to attend. Villa Tita & Casitas presented the mixer.

The next mixer is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from 6–8 p.m. at Chachalaca Bar, located at Francisca Rodríguez 136, Zona Romántica, Emiliano Zapata, 48380 Puerto Vallarta, Jal.

At the Oct. 6 event, beers will be available for $40 pesos. The event will also offer $90-peso Chacha Cosmos, house martinis and house cocktails, along with $60-peso glasses of wine. The venue will offer a 20% discount on the rest of its menu during the event.

The schedule entries differ for the following mixers. One places a mixer at Galleria Dante on Oct. 13, another places one at Restaurante ITA on Oct. 20, and another places one at La Cruda Restaurant on Oct. 27. Locations on the full 2026-27 schedule are subject to change.

The 2026-27 season is scheduled to include 37 Gay+ Mixers, with weekly events continuing through May. Most mixers are held on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., although some later-season mixers are scheduled at times that differ from the usual Tuesday 6-to-8-p.m. schedule. The mixers are scheduled to take place at venues throughout Puerto Vallarta.
