Lupita Hernández wins National Frontenis Tournament

Lupita Hernández won the National Frontenis Tournament held from July 16 to 19 at Club Campestre de Aguascalientes.

In the national tournament final, Hernández and her partner Laura Puentes faced fellow vallartense Ximena Plácito, and the final was decided in three sets. Plácito also qualified for the World Championship after being ranked number two.

Hernández will represent Mexico at the Absolute Basque Pelota World Championship, while Hernández and Plácito will wear Mexico’s colors at the tournament. The championship will bring together the best representatives from different countries and will take place from October 10 to 18 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
