Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica Sets October Dates

Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica 2026 will take place from October 4 to October 7, with the Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center as its main venue.

Jalisco and Nayarit presented the event’s 18th edition under the theme “Descubriendo una Nueva Realidad.” Activities will also take place in Puerto Vallarta, San Sebastián del Oeste, Riviera Nayarit, and Bucerías, giving visitors several destinations to include in their plans.

The program includes showcookings, gourmet workshops, premium tastings, and keynote conferences. More than 80 chefs, mixologists, and specialists will take part, with participating experts coming from Mexico, Spain, the United States, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, and Chile.

Jalisco’s participation will include chefs Francisco Ruano, Xrysw Ruelas, and Óscar Segundo. Representative products from the state will include chile de Yahualica, raicilla, and tequila.

The previous edition recorded more than 14,000 attendees, generated more than 5,500 room nights, and produced an economic impact close to 300 million pesos. The organizers stated that more than 85 percent of attendees come from other regions.

The event is part of a strategy to promote the talent and products of Jalisco and Nayarit, and to strengthen gastronomy as a tourist attraction. Jalisco gastronomy has recently received recognition from the Michelin Guide.

The wider calendar includes Guadalajara as the venue for Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants on December 1. Jalisco will also host the Guía México Gastronómico 2027 and has been declared the Year of Gastronomy for 2027.
