Moro Paraiso is a hidden gem, up the Rio Cuale from Paso Ancho, should not be missed. Chuy is your Moro Paraiso host, providing wonderful food at very reasonable prices.
The location is terrific, you sit overlooking the Rio Cuale, quiet during the week, but with lots of picnicking locals on the weekends. It’s seldom crowded weekdays and even on weekends, they also can put extra tables down on the riverbank, when the river is low during the winter.
Not very easy to get to without your own transport, the last bus stop is 1K downstream, but not a bad hike.
About every #04 Paso Ancho bus now goes further up the Rio Cuale to Paseo del Guayabo MAP.
You can rent horses in Paso Ancho as an option.
