Yelapa is one of several small villages on the south side of Banderas Bay, that can only be easily reached by boat. It's not an island but has the feel of one as there are no cars and electricity only came here 3 years ago. There are now over 500 international residents who have been captivated by the lifestyle and now call Yelapa their home.

Cruising to Yelapa you'll enjoy sightseeing past Puerto Vallarta, Conchas Chinas, Los Arcos and Mismaloya, stopping on the way to snorkel at a select spot. In Yelapa, follow our guide, explore and hear stories of the village and its people. After lunch at our favorite beach restaurant, you can sunbath and swim before reboarding our sail boat and sailing (if there's enough wind) back to port.
