Up behind Puerto Vallarta in the Sierra Madre Mountains is an old mining town that has a completely different atmosphere than Puerto Vallarta. At 4,500 ft. with pine trees, the air is crisp and clear and at night it can be quite cold. Founded in 1605 it was a big silver mining center. Visit an operating Raicilla still and a coffee plantation.

Venturing away from the suburbs of Vallarta in our specially designed
Mercedes Benz all-terrain vehicles, the off-road voyage of discovery
begins, as we take you through mountain streams, past forgotten villages,
and over bumpy terrain on a mission to reach the heart of the Sierra.

On the way north to this old colonial port, you will stop at the Hidden
Paradise restuarant to place your lunch order, upon your return.
In San Blas you'll visit the Spanish fort built in 1768 with a magnificent
view. Visit the crocodile farm (included) where
you will learn about these amazing creatures and other animals of the
region.
You can take "La Tovara Tour" by boat
for 12 people and go through the fantastic
jungle (not included). Then swim in a protected
area in crystal clear water and refresh yourselves. Stop for your pre-order
lunch on the way back.

Learn basic survival techniques such as making fire, purifying water,
following animal tracks, identifying edible plants and gathering wild
food, making shelter and navigating through the wilderness.
Participants must be at least 16 years
of age and in good physical condition. Terrain will be rocky, guests
will get wet and can expect an adrenaline-filled adventure. Full training
and guiding. A hammock and the skills to build your own shelter will
be provided. Food and drink? You will be
living from nature
