We provide a private cruise for the more independent travellers, to remote beaches with snorkelling, fishing and hiking.
For travellers looking to get away from the crowds while enjoying the spectacular coastal area south of Vallarta, Tango Tours offers something a bit special.

Our tours start from Boca de Tomatlan, a traditional little fishing village 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta. Buses run from Vallarta to Boca every run every 10 mins (see information below), taxis charge around 120 pesos.
There you will be met by Captain Beto. Beto speaks good English, is friendly and accommodating, knows the area really well and is committed to making sure you have a great day. It’s your tour, you do whatever you wish.

As our main aim is to keep you away from the crowds, we set off from Boca as early as you can make it – usually around 9am. This ensures that all our stops – for fishing, snorkelling or hiking and lunch – take place before everyone else arrives!

After leaving Boca we will take you to Los Arcos to snorkel. There you will see and swim with a variety of fish – amongst them the beautiful angel fish. Thanks to their passion for Bimbo bread (of which we carry vast supplies!) there is never a shortage of fish!.
Then past Mismaloya on our way to the beach village of Quimixto where you can hike (or rent a horse), to a beautiful waterfall for a refreshing swim.

From Quimixto we cruise further south before stopping to snorkel at Majahuitas, a beautiful area just off the exclusive Majahuitas resort. The water is crystal clear and a beautiful green so the snorkelling here is fantastic!
By now you´ll be ready for some lunch and we´ll take you to Las Animas beach to enjoy a tasty lunch in one of the lovely beach restaurants, cost not included. As you are enjoying some good food you can relax and watch the world go by!

Transpot to Boca

Buses (orange & white) run every 15 minutes from the corner of Constitución and Basilio Badillo; Cost is 8 pesos. At Boca (the end of the line) you’ll find Capt. Beto down the hill here. Map.

By around 5 pm, we will have you back at Boca de Tomatlan.

Includes Snorkelling Equipment and a cooler with ice for your drinks and snacks.
If you want to plan a custom tour, please send us an email. We´ll be only too happy to help you.
