Mexican Food Image.

The food served at a Taco Stand or in a Cenaduria, is probably closer to real, traditional, Mexican food, than you will find in the majority of restaurants here. Because many of the Mexican restaurants are actually serving Tex-Mex dishes, like Fajitas.

The original people before the Spanish conquest used a lot of corn, beans and chili, the Spanish brought in a lot more ingredients and it fused together with other influences from Europe, Asia and Africa.
The restaurants listed below are our favorite Mexican Restaurants, from Gourmet to literally Home Cooked.
