There has been an Asian influence in Mexico for hundreds of years, since Colonial Times, when many Filipinos came via the Manilla Treasure Galleon, to Acapulco. The popular street drink Tuba originated in the Philippines. The 1st on the list was started by an American/Filipino, ex paratrooper, Archie Alpenia.
